Adventure with Intention.
Small Groups. Expert Guides. Experiences made with you in mind.
The Snowy Mountains
Raised on the mountains.
K7 brings care and attention to every adventure we build — deep local knowledge, low-impact guiding, and a commitment to the alpine ecosystem that goes well beyond the trip itself. Small groups. Tailored to you. Guided with care for the landscape.
OUR STORY
-
Locals. Community members. Adventurers with a lifetime in these mountains. K7 exists because we want to share where we grew up — we help you access a side of The Snowies most people never see.
-
No two adventures the same. That's the point. We don't run itineraries. We offer human-powered slow adventure. We believe that the best mountain days are when you feel ready. So we build experiences for you — your fitness, your goals, your pace. We guide you through every step.
-
Our guests are used to running things. But on the mountain is one place they don't have to — we handle every detail so they can enjoy being fully present. What that looks like is different for everyone. But there's always one thing in common: a willingness to find the edge of comfortable and see what happens. We keep it safe and supported. People come back feeling more capable, more alive, more themselves. That is the purpose of adventure with intention.

"The most magical day ever. It was the first time our kids had seen snow and Lewis took us to the mountain top where they got to experience deep powder in what felt like our own Arctic adventure. We had the mountain to ourselves. One of the best things we have ever done as a family."

"Not only was the hike fantastic, but Imogen made us feel safe, encouraged us when it got hard and was so knowledgeable. She kept us to a pace that suited our levels and never made us feel like we were too slow. K7 catered for our different ages and abilities, spending time working out the best routes before we set out."

"Sensational day out hiking Mt Kosciuszko in snowshoes from Dead Horse Gap in extreme weather conditions. Thanks to Lewis and the team, and to our guide Chess who was awesome and got us into the alpine."
