Rock Climbing and Abseiling Thredbo
Eagle Rock, located at the top of Thredbo, is a granite playground offering climbing and abseiling experiences suitable for all. Flourishing in the warmer months, this crag offers stunning vistas providing a perfect backdrop for learning essential Alpine Granite climbing techniques. Surrounded by an Australian alpine setting of snowgums and mountain plum pines, it's an ideal spot to engage with nature and hone your skills.

WHAT TO BRING
GRADE 1: BEGINNER

1. Meet your guide at the K7 Adventures Storefront In Thredbo. They will help you pickup your Lift Pass for the Kosciuszko Express Chairlft.
Receive all necessary climbing gear and equipment from K7 Adventures.
2. Embark on a scenic chairlift ride up to Eagle Rock at 1900m elevation.
3. Begin with a warm welcome and introduction to the local Indigenous culture, acknowledging the country you're in. Receive an informative safety briefing from your guide, including the proper use of climbing equipment, safety protocols, and communication signals.
4. Your guide will lead you through three exhilarating climbs, each offering different challenges and experiences. you'll also have the opportunity to descend via two thrilling abseils.
Your guide will provide tips, encouragement, and support throughout these activities.
6. Reflection and Closing
Share experiences, accomplishments, and memorable moments with your fellow climbers.
7. Return to K7 Adventures storefront.
Embark on a short, scenic walk back to the Jindabyne Dam Wall carpark.
Return all climbing gear and equipment to your guide.
