WHAT TO BRING

BEING BIKE READY

  • Meeting point Harro's Lake Crackenback.

    Morning Sessions 8:30am - 12:30pm

    Afternoon Sessions 1:30pm - 5:30pm

    1. Meet at Harro's Lake Crackenback. If you are renting a bike from them please arrives 15 minutes before the above meeting time to pickup your bike.

    2. Brief introduction, overview of the day's adventure, and safety talk.

    3. Start the exciting ride along the lower Thredbo Valley Track (TVT). Receive coaching and tips tailored to the individual allowing you to improve techniques and tackle challenging parts of the track.

    4. 12: pm/5:00 pm Arrival at Trout Hatchery and Debrief session with stories of the day, feedback, and sharing memorable moments.

      This tour will require a car drop before the tour at the Trout Hatchery to allow for a return journey via car to Lake Crackenback.

  • Approx 300-meter vertical descent over 18 kilometers of beautiful single-track riding.

    Visual highlights include alpine ash, snow gum’s, Thredbo River, scenic bridges, and a beautiful picnic spot at the Trout Hatchery.

  • This TVT Mountain Biking Tour is ideally suited for strong beginners in mountain biking, offering an excellent opportunity for those comfortable on a bike to further develop their skills. Participants should have a basic understanding of biking techniques and fitness to handle a three hours of riding, with the tour providing both a challenge and a fantastic learning experience.

  • This tour is available during the warmer months of November through to May. The TVT trail is subject to closures during periods of heavy rainfall.
