Mike led the first lodge-based and camping ‘Ten Peaks’ walks, taking clients to the ten highest mountains in Australia during summer. He also leads walks to Aries Tors, heritage listed mountain huts and the Sentinel. Scenic sunset and sunrise locations are favourite times of the day to enjoy and photograph.

During winter he leads day trips and multi-day snow camping trips on snow shoes or skis for all levels and interests including photographers, outdoor enthusiasts and people who want to experience camping in the snow for the first time.

Mike Edmondson's interest in photography stems from a deep connection with the Australian bush and a love of the mountains. Mike has spent most of his life in the Snowy Mountains. His camera travels almost everywhere with him, allowing him to capture this unique environment and share it with others.

The physical effort of walking, skiing and snowshoeing into the mountains with camera equipment is more than rewarded by the special moments. Even the Mountain weather is no impediment to Mike, who has endured the most intense snow storms and winds to capture this ancient, peaceful & magical land on film.
