FAQs

Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is perfect for women who want to improve their mountain biking skills, connect with nature, and prioritise their well-being. It’s designed for all skill levels, with group rides tailored to your confidence and experience.

What ability level is required?

This retreat is designed for strong beginner to upper intermediate riders. If you’re comfortable riding easy trails and want to build your skills and confidence on more challenging terrain, this retreat is an excellent fit for you.

Do I need to bring my own bike?

We recommend bringing a well-maintained, full-suspension mountain bike or E bike for the best experience. A hardtail is acceptable but less ideal for the terrain. Our team will assist with setup, and a mechanic will be on hand throughout the retreat.

What is the group size?

The retreat is capped at 12 participants to ensure a personalised and inclusive experience. You’ll be supported by two MTB guides, a bike mechanic, caterers and a wellness coach.

What type of bike should I bring for this trip?

This retreat is designed to accommodate riders of various fitness and experience levels, so the type of bike you use can enhance your experience:

  • Riders who prefer extra support or are building their endurance: We highly recommend renting an e-bike. E-bikes provide extra assistance on climbs and allow you to enjoy the trails comfortably while keeping up with the group.

  • Intermediate to advanced riders: A traditional mountain bike (full suspension or hardtail) is suitable if you’re confident in your fitness and trail skills.

Note: On Day 3, all participants will be provided with e-bikes for the backcountry adventure as a safety measure.

If you’re unsure about which bike is best for you, feel free to reach out for guidance or advice on rental options!
